Jacques Lemoine

A graduate of the Ecole Nationale d‘Assurance and the Centre National de Prévention et de Protection, Jacques Lemoine began his career in insurance companies in 1972. After an extensive career in insurance, in 2000 he took over management of the Fine Arts Department of Gras Savoye, then that of the Art branch of the Siaci Saint Honoré brokerage in 2014.

His professionalism and expertise are recognised by the Museums of France and the national institutions in France, allowing him to establish real relationships of trust with the French institutions and European museums. Jacques Lemoine has acted as an advisor numerous times for colloquia organised by the International Council of Museums (ICOM), the AFROA (Association Française des Régisseurs d’œuvres d’Art), the FFCR (Fédération Française des Professionnels de la Conservation-Restauration) and the European Registrars Conference (ERC). Wanting to convey his commitment to risk prevention for works of art and share his professional experience, Jacques has taught at the IESA (Institut Européen Supérieur des Arts), the University of Picardy Jules Verne, Amiens for the Department of Arts Master “La régie des expositions”, the CIPAC (Centre International pour la pensée et l’art contemporain), the INP (Institut National du Patrimoine), the Paris-Sorbonne University “The Art Market”, and the Pantheon-Assas University, Paris II “The Work of Art and the Law”.

Internationally recognised for his expertise, Jacques Lemoine was named to the position of General Manager of the new French branch of Eeckman Art & Insurance on 1 January 2017. This brokerage office, a leader in Belgium and Switzerland, wishes to develop its activities in France and in particular in Paris.
